Gate access control systems for the Bay Area
A gate keeps people out. Access control decides who gets in, and keeps a record of it. We design, install, and integrate keypads, intercoms, video panels, card readers, and cellular app entry for homes, communities, and commercial properties.
Overview
Take control of who opens your gate
Access control is the part of your entrance you interact with every day, the keypad you tap, the panel a visitor calls from, the app that opens the gate for a delivery while you are away.
Done well, it is invisible when it should be and reliable when it matters, residents and staff move through without friction, while unknown vehicles simply do not get in.
The right system depends on how your property is used, a single-family driveway has very different needs than a 200-unit apartment community or an industrial yard. We start with how people and vehicles move through your entrance, then match the technology to it. Whether you need a simple keypad or a managed, app-controlled system with entry logs and multiple tenants, we specify, install, and integrate it with your gate operator across the Bay Area.
System Types
Access control system types we install
Most properties combine two or three of these. Here is what each does and where it fits best.

Keypads & PIN Entry
Weatherproof keypads let residents, staff, or trusted visitors enter a code, no remote or phone required. Issue a unique PIN to a housekeeper or contractor and delete it later. Best for homes, small commercial sites, and reliable backup entry.

Telephone Entry Systems
A visitor looks up a resident by name or dials a directory code; the system calls the resident, who presses a key to grant entry. Scales to hundreds of tenants. Best for HOAs, multi-tenant, and directory-based entry.

Audio & Video Intercoms
Speak with a visitor before opening, and with video, see them too. Panels can ring an in-home station, a mobile app, or both. Best for privacy-conscious homes, offices, and anywhere visual confirmation matters.

Cellular & App-Based Entry
Cellular systems connect over a mobile network, no phone line to maintain. Open the gate, grant scheduled access, take a video call, and review activity from anywhere. Best for tech-forward homes and remote property management.

Card, Fob & RFID Readers
Cards, fobs, and RFID tags (including long-range windshield tags for vehicles) give fast, credential-based entry for known users. Access can be added or revoked instantly and logged. Best for employee/tenant entry and per-person accountability.

Loop Detectors & Free-Exit Sensors
Wire loops set into the pavement sense a vehicle to trigger free exit, prevent the gate closing on a car, and keep busy entrances flowing safely. A core part of a properly functioning automated entrance. Best for any driveway with regular traffic.
Property Types
Access control for every property type
We match the system to how your property actually operates, from a discreet residential setup to a managed multi-tenant platform.
Residential & Estate
App entry for the family, a video panel to screen visitors, and unique keypad codes for household help, kept discreet and simple to live with day to day.
Commercial & Office
Credential readers plus a video-capable panel admit known staff instantly, verify visitors, and maintain a record of who came and went for security reviews and insurance.
HOA & Gated Communities
Directory-based telephone or cellular entry lets residents open the gate from their phone, while boards and managers administer the resident list centrally.
Multi-Family & Apartment
Cellular systems let managers add and remove tenants remotely, issue temporary delivery codes, and review activity without a site visit, paired with vehicle loops and readers.
Industrial & Fleet
Long-range RFID for trucks, loop-based free exit, and rugged credential readers keep yards and fleet facilities moving while controlling entry to sensitive areas.
For homes, access control turns an automatic driveway gate into something genuinely effortless to live with. Managing several buildings? We plan multi-property access too.
Retrofit
Add access control to an existing gate
You do not need a new gate to gain modern entry control. In most cases we retrofit access control to a gate and operator you already own, assessing your operator, wiring, and power, then integrating the new keypad, intercom, cellular unit, or reader so it drives the existing gate correctly and safely.
If your gate already struggles to open, close, or respond, sort that out first, a new panel cannot fix a failing operator. Our gate repair service restores the mechanics, and if the operator is at end of life, a new automatic gate installation may be the better long-term value.

Not sure your gate can support it?
Ask us for a retrofit assessment. We will tell you honestly whether your existing gate and operator can take a modern access control system, or what it would take to get there.

FAQ
Access control FAQs
It depends on how many people need access, whether visitors come regularly, and how you want to manage it. A single home is often well served by a keypad plus a video or app panel; communities and apartments usually need a directory-based telephone or cellular system; commercial and industrial sites benefit from credential readers and vehicle loops. A short consultation is the quickest way to match the system to your entrance.
